A few more sneak peaks at some of my upcoming lots.

A prairie-style mansion with numerous features. This house began as an experiment in split-level design. Beneath the elevated foyer is a basement with plenty of space for a poker table and pool table. The second floor is accessed via a switch-back stairwell or an elevator. The backyard features a poolhouse with a bar and grill, an "outdoor livingroom" complete with fireplace, jacuzzi, pool, and a playhouse with a swingset.

A chateauesque manor with Gothic Victorian styling. This brick house is built for the family sim. Plenty of living space and a large basement ensures that everyone will have their own place and still have room to keep all their stuff. The backyard is accented by a pool with an outdoor kitchen.

This lovely little villa is actually the same house we are using for our Legacy house. It features four bedrooms, plus a study/guest room and has a spacious living room, a dining room large enough to feed the entire clan, and a well appointed kitchen with a functional island and breakfast counter.
For our legacy, all Isee could afford at first was the foyer and the study. She was able to use her late husband's life insurance to finally finish construction and add the kitchen (which had been in the study since building the master suite) as well as the elegant cross-shaped pool in the back.

The Dollhouse Bakery: A favorite stop for many shoppers on Monkey Street, but rumor has it that the proprietor of this shop is selling more than tea and crumpets in the loft...
And last of all:

A comparison shot from neighborhood view showing the Victorian manor with a particular haunted house.

Do you have any interior shots to share?
rumor has it that the proprietor of this shop is selling more than tea and crumpets in the loft...
I am intrigued. ^_^
Will you be uploading these anywhere?
I'm pretty jealous, now! :D
i wish i could be as creative as you when i build houses.
OK, so it does take a long time, but I've always been the one who would sit down with a box of legos in the morning and build until I was too tired to put the pieces on the right way :)
Though it must be a pain to actually play through the lots--I mean, wouldn't something that big and content-filled lag something awful? Building houses is my favorite part too, but I deliberately try to avoid creating anything enormous for that exact reason.
Most of the houses really aren't that big on the inside. I have made a few that were too large to play in, including a haunted house that lagged horribly even without furniture, but it was around five stories tall and took up the better portion of a 5x5 lot and wityh a multi-level basement/dungeon.
Nowadays I purposely try to keep the buildings themselves smaller than 25x45 squares on the exterior dimensions and haven't had a lag issue.
You should join and post these over at
Will you be making any available for download?
I'll be putting a few of them at The Sims Resource (http://www.thesimsresource.com/profile
And the last pics of the fantasy Victorian and Big Spooky, guau('wow' in Espanol), now its still hard to believe those two are closely related. They contrast nicely though which reminds me of how we put the Swan Castle and the Dark Tower together in a screencap.
When I look at the villa I'm reminded of how Isee started out with just 4 walls and a toilet. Then Sinjin moved in and that got the construction rolling and afterwards too. Isee gots herself a new kitchen. Cha-ching!!
(Kitty tail swishes side-to-side mischieviously)Where's my Gothic Grand Cathedral? Huh, huh?!
LOL! Just kidding! =^.^=
